- Department: means the Department of State Health Services. See Texas Health and Safety Code 486.001
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The department may impose an administrative penalty on a person who violates this chapter.
