- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
If an unclaimed body is the body of a traveler who died suddenly, the commission shall direct the institution or other person receiving the body to retain the body for six months for purposes of identification.
