(a) A board may employ a fund manager and other persons necessary to implement this chapter and the plan of operation.
(b) The board may employ or contract with a person or insurer for underwriting, accounting, claims, and other services.

- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
