Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code 325.012
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A vacancy on the board shall be filled by appointment of the remaining members. The person appointed to fill the vacancy shall serve only for the unexpired term.
