(a) Real property acquired under this chapter shall be conveyed to the state by warranty deed.
(b) The board may purchase or acquire title insurance for any real property purchased under this chapter.
Terms Used In Texas Natural Resources Code 51.404
- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
