- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.

In determining the damages resulting from condemnation, the commissioners or any other tribunal shall not consider the value of oil or gas located beneath the rights-of-way of the condemned property.
