Terms Used In Texas Occupations Code 160.013
- Board: means the Texas Medical Board. See Texas Occupations Code 151.002
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Physician: means a person licensed to practice medicine in this state. See Texas Occupations Code 151.002
If a court makes a final determination that a report or complaint made to the board was made in bad faith, the complaint shall be expunged from the physician‘s or applicant’s individual historical record.
