- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The district may exercise any type of property right, including the power to acquire, sell, or lease as lessee or lessor, regarding any type of property interest located inside or outside the boundaries of the district under terms determined by the board.
