- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
To protect the public interest, the district may contract with a qualified person, including Travis County, for the provision of law enforcement services in the district for a fee.
