Terms Used In Texas Transportation Code 173.105
- Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
- Year: means 12 consecutive months. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The presiding officer shall call at least one meeting of the board each year and may hold other meetings as the presiding officer determines are appropriate.
