Terms Used In Texas Transportation Code 431.143
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
The commission, at its sole discretion, may amend the articles of incorporation at any time by:
(1) adopting the amendment by resolution; and
(2) delivering the articles of amendment to the secretary of state.
