- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
Before hiring a person as an employee, the commission may obtain from the Department of Public Safety or a private vendor all criminal history record information relating to the prospective employee.
