(a) By July 31 of each year, a campus meeting the qualification criteria and attaining the VETS campus designation shall provide the following data to THEC:

  • Military-affiliated: means active-duty military personnel, reservists, members of the national guard, and reserve officer training corps program cadets. See Tennessee Code 49-7-1303
  • THEC: means the Tennessee higher education commission. See Tennessee Code 49-7-1303
  • Veteran: means a former member of the armed forces of the United States, or a former or current member of a reserve or Tennessee national guard unit who was called into active military service of the United States, as defined in §. See Tennessee Code 49-7-1303
  • VETS campus: means a campus of a public or private nonprofit institution of higher education that has demonstrated educational support for veterans and has been designated by THEC under this part as a campus supportive of veterans. See Tennessee Code 49-7-1303
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(1) The number of veterans enrolled at the campus;
(2) The programs of study in which veterans are enrolled;
(3) The completion of degrees or other credentials by veterans; and
(4) A current list of course equivalencies for military education, training, and experience.
(b) By July 31, 2025, and by each July 31 thereafter, a VETS campus designated as a VETS Bravo campus shall provide the following data to THEC:

(1) Aggregated annual survey results;
(2) The number of students participating in support programs dedicated specifically for veteran and military-affiliated students along with academic progress statistics;
(3) Documentation evidencing the VETS Bravo campus liaison’s participation in at least two (2) professional development activities related to veterans; and
(4) The number of veteran students who received career services and the job placement rate for all veteran students in the previous academic year.
