Terms Used In Tennessee Code 50-3-701
- commissioner of labor and workforce development: means the chief executive officer of the department of labor and workforce development. See Tennessee Code 50-3-103
- Employer: means a person engaged in a business who has one (1) or more employees and includes county, metropolitan and municipal governments. See Tennessee Code 50-3-103
Each employer shall make available to the commissioner of labor and workforce development, in the manner the commissioner requires, copies of the same records and reports regarding the employer’s activities relating to this chapter as are required to be made, kept or preserved by 29 U.S.C. § 657(c) and regulations made pursuant to 29 U.S.C. § 657(c).
