The articles of incorporation shall specify:

(1)  The name of the corporation by which it shall be known.

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Person: means :Utah Code 68-3-12.5
  • Property: includes both real and personal property. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(2)  The object of the corporation.

(3)  The estimated value of the property at the time of the making of articles of incorporation.

(4)  The title of the person making such articles.
