72-16-204. Amusement Ride Safety Restricted Account.
(1) |
There is created in the General Fund a restricted account known as the “Amusement Ride Safety Restricted Account.” |
Terms Used In Utah Code 72-16-204
- Account: means the Amusement Ride Safety Restricted Account created in Section 72-16-204. See Utah Code 72-16-102
- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
- Committee: means the Utah Amusement Ride Safety Committee created in Section 72-16-201. See Utah Code 72-16-102

(a) |
The account is funded from:
(i) |
fees collected by the committee under this chapter; |
(ii) |
money appropriated by the Legislature; and |
(iii) |
interest earned on money in the account. |

(b) |
Appropriations made from the account are nonlapsing. |

(3) |
Subject to appropriation, the committee may use the money deposited into the account to pay for the administration of this chapter. |
