§ 17. Collections

(a) The Secretary may collect an unpaid administrative or civil penalty by filing a civil collection action in any Superior Court or through any other means available to State agencies.

(b) The Secretary may, subject to 3 Vt. Stat. Ann. chapter 25, suspend any license, certificate, registration, or permit issued pursuant to his or her authority for failure to pay a penalty under this chapter more than 45 days after the penalty was imposed by order and served.
