Nothing in this article shall prevent the Governor from drafting all citizens into the state military service if he may so desire in accordance with the military laws of Virginia.
Terms Used In Virginia Code 44-114.4
- military service: as used in this title , shall include the activities of the members of the Virginia Defense Force while in training duty and state active duty status. See Virginia Code 44-54.4
- State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes any of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the United States Virgin Islands. See Virginia Code 1-245
