The term “urban arterial” as used in *this chapter means an arterial within an urban area.

Terms Used In Washington Code 47.26.110
- arterial: as used in this chapter means any state highway, county road, or city street, in an urban area, that is functionally classified as a principal arterial, minor arterial, or collector street by the department in cooperation with the board, regional transportation planning organizations, cities, and counties. - urban area: as used in this chapter means every area of this state designated as an urban area by the department in cooperation with the board and regional transportation planning organizations. See Washington Code 47.26.040
