The commissioner of the Department of Administration shall assist a food bank by locating and providing available state surplus buildings or equipment necessary for the operation of a donated food bank for use without charge.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 19-30-9
- Donated food bank: means a nonprofit organization that solicits, stores, or redistributes food products to charitable organizations and individuals for the purpose of feeding needy families and individuals. See West Virginia Code 19-30-5
- State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
