  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to states of the United States, includes the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the several territories organized by Congress. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01

The department of natural resources, the department of administration, and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation shall submit a report evaluating the effectiveness of this state‘s efforts to remedy the contamination of, and to redevelop, brownfields, as defined in s. 238.13 (1) (a).
