Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 322.035

  • Person: includes all partnerships, associations and bodies politic or corporate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.

The trial counsel shall serve or cause to be served upon the accused a copy of the charges. No person may, against the person’s objection, be brought to trial before a general court-martial case within a period of 5 days after the service of charges upon the accused or, in a special court-martial, within a period of 3 days after the service of charges upon the accused.
