Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 26:13-17.1

  • population: when used in any statute, shall be taken to mean the population as shown by the latest Federal census effective within this State, and shall be construed as synonymous with "inhabitants. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
  • State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
1. Throughout the duration of a public health emergency declared pursuant to P.L.2005, c.222 (C. 26:13-1 et seq.), to the extent practicable, information concerning food access programs and resources shall be prominently displayed on the main website of the Statewide 2-1-1 system and of each executive branch department. In addition, to the extent practicable, the Statewide 2-1-1 system and the executive branch departments shall disseminate information concerning food access programs and resources using social media and any other means deemed appropriate to reach as many individuals and population groups in the State as possible.
