Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 3B:13-30
- Guardian: means a person acting as fiduciary for a ward. See New Jersey Statutes 3B:13-2
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
The public guardian shall proceed to settle the accounts of all estates of which he is duly appointed guardian upon the expiration of his term of office.
