a. Application for accreditation. Any person, partnership, association, corporation or public educational institution desiring to conduct a school of professional nursing shall submit to the board evidence in such form as the board may require that the applicant: (1) is equipped to give the course of instruction and practice set forth in the curriculum prescribed by the board, part of which instruction and practice may, with the approval of the board, be given by arrangement with one or more agencies or institutions approved by the board for that purpose; (2) is affiliated with a hospital of such size and facilities as the board may prescribe; (3) meets such other standards and requirements as the board may prescribe.
