Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 46:8D-10

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
The master declaration or master register may be amended in the manner set forth therein; provided that no amendment shall affect any cooperative unit unless the possessor of record thereof and the holders of record of any liens thereon join in the execution of the amendment or execute a consent thereto with the formalities of a deed.
