  • Ombudsman: means an individual who has been certified by the state ombudsman as meeting the requirements of ss. See Florida Statutes 400.0060
The State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program shall maintain a statewide uniform reporting system to collect and analyze data relating to complaints and conditions in long-term care facilities and to residents for the purpose of identifying and resolving complaints. Information pertaining to the number and types of complaints received by the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program shall be published quarterly and made readily available and shall include such information in the annual report required under s. 400.0065.
