i purchased a home. the owner/lisitng agent supplied a home disclosure and checked the box that stated there were no liens, assessments, etc. against the property. i found out there was a $3500 water assessment after i closed and was notified by the water company. The owner/listing agent claims he verbally told my realtor. my realtor stated there was no such conversation. now what do i do? take everyone to court?

Dave, You would not need to take "everyone" to court. Just the owner who provided the false disclosure statement. You'll want to try to show that the owner would have known about the assessment at the time. That may require a little research on your part.

Ok, I have a dosey of a question. My boyfriend was young and extremely dumb when he was 17. He was convicted of a vehicular manslaughter at 17 and was tried as an adult. He was given probation. This was in 1993 in Leon County. In 1999, he reoffender, got caught drinking an driving again. His probation was revoked and I believe he was convicted of another DUI charge. He served his time and several years later he appeared before the court and was granted a restricted license. But as a condition he has to meet with a counselor. In the beginning it was monthly and, in the last year it has been reduced to every 3 months. We live in Tennessee. He has never been in trouble again. We were told that the law has changed that may grant reinstaement of his license and he would no longer have to meet with a counselor. Can anyone help us in finding out if this is the case? His original attorney can not be located and records date back to so long ago they we are hitting road blocks.thanks
