I have a question about a person or people that have a extremely loud sterio system in their house. The houses here are very close to each other, besides my house has the original windows wich are paper thin so the bass just totaly rattles my windows it is so loud and the bass in so intense. This goes on for hours sometimes 10 hours straight or longer, some nights past midnight. It's not just bass either when he comes out to have a smoke or whatever and opens the door it is loud loud, you can hear it a mile away,I am talking hours none stop just blasting, you are on drugs or something that is not normal I am sorry. But the really bad part is other than this has been going on for a year and it is just way past unbarable and come to the point where I have had a deputy come out,but the real bad part is and my main question is,they have a 3 year old little baby girl and a 10 year old boy, they are in the house the whole time the sterio is blasting a 3 year old girl in a house for 10 hours at a time listening to this is totaly wrong, she is going to have hearing loss by the time she is 4 if not brain damage,as far as the boy?does he do his homework? How could he possibly be able to his work or anything else, where are these kids and what are they doing when this guy has this sterio blasting like that none stop for 10 to 12 hours at a time?Something has to be done about it,if not just for my sake and all my neighbors sake, for the kids. The guy and his g/f are obviously on something you can't be straight and just listen to that for hours like that,it rattles my windows so can you amagine how loud it is in there? And those kids?Something has to be done. FL Statute 877.03 Breach Of Peace, and I would say child indangerment. The little girl is going to go deaf, and besides they are either on drugs for certain or drugs and drinking, either way it's child abuse and or neglect.Something has to do something about it already.

You should be persistent in reporting the noise problem to the police. There are often county ordinances prohibiting excessively loud noise nuisances. Here is a link to Broward County, Florida's for example:

http://browardsheriffsoffice.org/noise_ordinance_for_broward_county.html

In addition, you can report your concerns about child abuse anonymously to the Florida Department of Children and Families, here:

http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/programs/abuse/report.shtml

As a last resort you could also consider bringing a civil lawsuit against your neighbor, but that could involve significant expense.
