  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
     Upon application to a court of proper jurisdiction, injunctive relief shall issue in aid of the Authority’s powers enumerated in Section 7.1 through 7.26 and subsections (k) and (m) of Section 2, notwithstanding any other provisions of law. The Authority may sue in its own name with respect to the enforcement of any construction, acquisition or management contract or other agreement in connection with any development or facility for which there has been a grant or loan by the Authority.
