  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Program is created. The Program shall be administered by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The Department shall have the same powers and authority to administer the Program as are provided to the Department in connection with the Department’s administration of the Illinois Public Aid Code, including, but not limited to, the provisions under Section 11-5.1 of the Code, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program Act. The Department shall coordinate the Program with the existing children’s health programs operated by the Department and other State agencies. Effective October 1, 2013, the determination of eligibility under this Act shall comply with the requirements of 42 U.S.C. § 1397bb(b)(1)(B)(v) and applicable federal regulations. If changes made to this Section require federal approval, they shall not take effect until such approval has been received.
