Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 755 ILCS 10/6

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
     In the absence of evidence to the contrary, the certificate of the authorized person is conclusive of the formal validity of the instrument as a will under this Act. The absence or irregularity of a certificate does not affect the formal validity of a will under this Act.
