Terms Used In Indiana Code 28-1-22-8

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   Sec. 8. A foreign corporation that has been issued a certificate of admission by the secretary of state shall be admitted and shall have authority to transact the business set forth in the certificate.
