Terms Used In Iowa Code 322.31
- Department: means the state department of transportation. See Iowa Code 322.2
- Department: means the state department of transportation. See Iowa Code 321H.2
- Distributor: means a person, resident or nonresident, who sells or distributes all-terrain vehicles to all-terrain vehicle dealers in this state or who maintains distributor representatives. See Iowa Code 321I.1
- wholesaler: means a person, resident or nonresident, who in whole or part, sells or distributes motor vehicles to motor vehicle dealers, or who maintains distributor representatives. See Iowa Code 322.2
The department may deny the application of any person for a license as a manufacturer, distributor, or wholesaler, if after reasonable notice and a hearing the department determines that such applicant has violated any provision of this chapter and may revoke or suspend any such license that has been issued if the department shall determine after reasonable notice and a hearing that such licensee has violated any provision of this chapter.
