- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
No judge or court shall punish for contempt anyone making, filing or presenting the affidavit provided for by Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 20-311d or any motion founded thereon.
