Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 58-2610

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.

The district court shall have the same power to compel the settlement of the affairs of such copartnership, and to protect and enforce the rights of all persons interested therein, as if the assets of such copartnership were personal property only.
