Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 22:1805
- Policy: means an individual or group policy, group certificate, contract, or arrangement of life insurance affecting the rights of a resident of this state or bearing a reasonable relation to this state, regardless of whether delivered or issued for delivery in this state. Nothing in this Part preempts or otherwise limits the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 6:101 et seq. or La. Rev. Stat. 51:701 et seq. or any regulations, orders, policy statements, notices, bulletins, or other interpretations issued by or through the commissioner of financial institutions or his designee acting pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 6:101 et seq. or La. Rev. Stat. 51:701 et seq. Compliance with the provisions of this Part does not constitute compliance with any applicable provision of La. Rev. Stat. 6:101 et seq. or La. Rev. Stat. 51:701 et seq. and any amendments thereto or any regulations, orders, policy statements, notices, bulletins, or other interpretations issued by or through the commissioner of financial institutions or his designee acting pursuant to the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 6:101 et seq. or La. Rev. Stat. 51:701 et seq.
