- Pilot: means a New Orleans and Baton Rouge Steamship Pilot, as designated in La. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 34:1041
As used in this Part, the following term have the meaning ascribed to them in this Section, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) “Board of examiners” means the Board of Examiners for New Orleans and Baton Rouge steamship pilots for the Mississippi River, established in La. Rev. Stat. 34:1042.
(2) “Pilot” means a New Orleans and Baton Rouge Steamship Pilot, as designated in La. Rev. Stat. 34:1043.
