Relevant evidence shall not be excluded in any criminal trial or hearing or in any proceeding arising under section 169A.53 on the ground that it existed or was obtained outside of this state.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 634.30
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
