  • Legislative session: That part of a chamber's daily session in which it considers legislative business (bills, resolutions, and actions related thereto).
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

In order to serve the legislature with full information, the clean water commission shall report those segments of long-range planning which are applicable to management of the fund to each legislative session. The reports shall include economic justification for any recommendations involving contribution to or withdrawal from the fund, and shall also demonstrate benefits accruing to the state as a whole.
