Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 452:3
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Thirty days’ notice in writing of the intention to enforce the lien shall be given the purchaser, or his legal representative, or be left at his usual place of abode. If the purchaser resides out of the state, or his residence is unknown, notice may be given by publication.
