In any criminal case or civil cause in any district court, questions of law may be transferred to the supreme court in the same manner as that from the superior court under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 491:17; provided that the district court justice hearing the case to be transferred shall, if either party requests it, file as a part of the transferred case his findings, in writing, stating the facts found and his rulings of law.
