ยง 21-1005. Report and recommendations of department. The department shall submit to the governor and the legislature on or before the first day of the January next succeeding the approval of the Compact its recommendations for any legislative action deemed by the department advisable, including amendments to the statutes of the state of New York as well as recommendations for rules or regulations which it determines are necessary to carry out the intent and purposes of the Compact. The department shall also, as it deems advisable, submit to the governor and the legislature information on the programs and activities of the Council as they relate to the state of New York.
