Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 127A-17.1

  • property: shall include all property, both real and personal. See North Carolina General Statutes 12-3
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. Notwithstanding any provision of Chapter 143B of the N.C. Gen. Stat., no records of the North Carolina National Guard in the Department of Public Safety shall be disclosed or used for any purpose except for official purposes, and no records shall be disclosed, destroyed or used in any manner which is in violation of any existing federal law or regulation.
