- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The Veterans’ Affairs Commission shall have authority to determine administrative standards for admission and dismissal, as well as the medical conditions, of all persons admitted to and dismissed from any State veterans home, and to issue any necessary rules, subject to the requirements set out in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143B-1298 (1995, c. 346, s. 1; 2015-241, ss. 24.1(k), (tt); 2015-268, s. 7.3(a).)
