Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 58-93-45

  • Fiduciary: A trustee, executor, or administrator.
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies.   • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.

Any director, officer, trustee, manager, or partner of a PHP who receives, collects, disburses, or invests funds in connection with the activities of the PHP shall be responsible for those funds in a fiduciary relationship to the enrollees and to the State. (2018-49, s. 1(a).)
