(a) Any party aggrieved may appeal from the decision of the monthly county court in making the assessment, or refusing to make the assessment.

Terms Used In Tennessee Code 54-12-110

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Road: includes public bridges and may be held equivalent to the words "county way" "county road" or "state road". See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(b) The appeal shall be made in the same manner and upon the same terms provided for appeals from the action of the monthly county court in creating or refusing to create a road improvement district as provided in §§ 54-12-141 – 54-12-149.
