(a) The county mayor shall be chair of the board of directors.

  • County mayor: means and includes "county executive" unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
  • Record: means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in a perceivable form. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(b) The board shall elect one (1) of the other directors secretary and treasurer of the board, and as the treasurer shall give bond in the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) faithfully to account for all money received as treasurer.
(c) The bond shall be approved by the monthly county court and payable to the county or state, for the use of the district, and shall be recorded in the record.
