Terms Used In Texas Election Code 42.032
- County election precinct: means an election precinct established under § 42. See Texas Election Code 1.005
- Year: means 12 consecutive months. See Texas Government Code 311.005
If changes in county election precinct boundaries are necessary to give effect to a redistricting plan under Article III, § 28, of the Texas Constitution, each commissioners court shall order the changes before October 1 of the year in which the redistricting is done.
