Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code 505.206
- Municipality: means a general-law municipality, home-rule municipality, or special-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
This subchapter does not affect an authorizing municipality‘s authority to call an election under this chapter to impose a sales and use tax for any purpose authorized by this chapter after the sales and use tax described by this subchapter is, in accordance with § 505.258, no longer collected.
